Angry Slime

In WITCH-O School, it was the Slime-O-Fun day. Little witches eagerly looked forward to this day, which was full of fun. They were free from solving the tough Witchgebra’s symbol-number questions. They only had to learn how to make colourful slimes and play with them.

Jasmine Witch, however, wanted to learn magic tricks, not just make and play with slimes. But, she was 9, and the school rule allowed only 11-year-olds and above to hold the wand and learn magic tricks.

Jasmine poured clear glue in a small cauldron and then three drops of red and six drops of blue colour, to get a dark purple colour. She took a big yawn and poured a cup of lukewarm water in another small cauldron and put one teaspoon of borax in it.

“STIR IT. STIR IT. STIR IT,” Teacher Nemo Witch said. “Make borax dissolve in water.”

I know it. I’ve done this 122 times,” Jasmine mumbled.

Once the borax was dissolved in water, she added the dark purple glue to it. She stirred it until she got a glob of slime.

Jasmine punched and stretched the slime. “I wish I could make it fly,” she thought.

During the lunch break, she went to the library and picked “101 Magic Spells for Beginners.”.

Its seventh chapter was about “How to Make Slime Fly.”

It contained a two-line instruction: “Hold your slime and close your eyes. And, say: Flito, Lito, Yeto, flutter. TT.”

“TT” was a printing error, but Jasmine thought it was part of the spell.

Jasmine sneaked back into the slime lab, and she picked her slime and said,

            “FLITO-LITO-YETO-FLUTTER-TT.”

Hearing it,  the Slime began to fly as well as talk. Jasmin, however, did not understand even a word of what it was saying. This made the Slime very angry.

“OOHOO. BOOHO.”

            “What?” Jasmine asked.

On the Slime, big red dots began to appear. It was its way of telling Jasmine, “I AM VERY ANGRY. YOU ARE THE ONE WHO MADE ME TALK, AND NOW YOU DON’T EVEN UNDERSTAND ME.”

The angry Slime began to circle the lab like a bat, scaring Jasmine’s classmates. Soon, it was attacking the glass jars that contained glue, different colours, borax, and glitters.

“BOOCKA DHOOKAAAAA,” the Slime began to scream like a wacky ball.

Later, when Teacher Nemo arrived to check on her students, she found the lab in a complete mess. Pieces of glass were scattered on the floor. Some little witches were crying. And, Jasmine was looking up and mumbling, “Please become the fun-to-play slime again.”

Slime was hanging upside down from a ceiling fan that no longer worked.

It did not take Teacher Nemo long to find out what had happened.

She told everyone to calm down and close their eyes. She also closed her eyes and said, “QQ. GLEW- LEW-OEW-BEW-STILL.”

“Open your eyes now,” Teacher Nemo said.

Jasmine opened her eyes and found a slime glob on her table. The Angry Slime was once again the fun-to-play slime.

“Next time, ask me first before doing anything new,” Teacher Nemo said to Jasmine. “And, as you broke the school rule, you will have to write 100000000 words long apology letter.”

Jasmine did not like to write, but she nodded her head to say yes. She also thanked Teacher Nemo for rescuing the lab.

“I’ll now teach you how to make your slime dance,” Teacher Nemo told the whole class.

 Jasmine smiled hearing that.
