About Me

I am Anshu Shrivastava. I drink black coffee and arrange words in the right order. Sometimes it begins with a blank white page. Sometimes with hours of research. The first sentence is almost always imperfect — refining it takes time. And once that first sentence is locked, the rest flows... or so I hope. When I return to the piece, I often find gaps waiting to be filled. That’s when I pour another cup of black coffee and edit like a writer possessed.

With a background in advertising and journalism, I write both creative and factual copy with ease. As a child, I told my friends stories of vacations I never took. I don’t do that anymore — now I write stories for children. Storytelling comes naturally to me, thanks to an overactive imagination I consider a blessing.

In a writing career spanning more than two decades, I have witnessed the changing content landscape — from the rise and fall of content mills, to algorithms favoring meaningful long-form writing, and now the surge of AI-generated content across platforms.

Yet one thing has remained constant: the demand for good writing. AI can write efficiently, but it cannot replicate the human ability to infuse words with soul, depth, and character. That is where I excel.
